He slapped her across the face, leaving her all red. He then approached me with a mischievous smile. I could tell what he was about to do to me. I could hear my best friend crying in the corner. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him. I tried to push him away, but he was too strong. I tried kicking him, I tried hitting him, I tried everything! I wouldn't let him give me my first kiss!
It all began one lousy afternoon at high school. My best friend and I were talking on our way to class. Our classmates wouldn't exactly call us "popular" or anything. We weren't even considered normal everyday teenagers. We were more like "those weirdos over there." I wouldn't say I was pretty or anything, but my best friend, Addison, is. Addison is much prettier than I am. She waved her blonde hair away from her pale face as we entered the classroom. I looked around and saw a few cute boys, one of which I had never seen before in my life. He had mysterious dark brown eyes, almost hidden by his black bangs. I sat down right in front of him, hoping to get to know him a little better. Class continued, and the teacher introduced him to us. His name was Nathan Mill. Nathan came with his family just last week from North Dakota. He said he got expelled from school for "sexual harassment" even though it's not true. After class, Addison pulled me aside and whispered in my ear.
"Hey, Priscilla, do you think that new kid is pretty cute?" She asked.
"Yeah, a little, why?"
"Well, don't tell, but I kind of have a crush on him."
My eyes widened. My best friend had a crush on Nathan? He was accused of sexual harassment in North Dakota, and yet she LIKES him? I guess I can't really blame her, I mean, Nathan IS pretty hot.
"You do?" I asked, trying to make sure.
"Wow...okay, don't worry, I won't tell." I promised her.
She smiled, and the school day continued. After school, on the way home, I thought i saw Nathan pass by my neighborhood on a bike. I looked behind me as I turned a corner, but when I turned back around, I bumped into someone.
"Oh, sorry!" I exclaimed.
"Oh, it's fine," he said.
The boy looked like he was my age. He had short blonde hair that shined in the sun, and beautoful blue orbs for eyes that reminded me of the waves at the beach. I was immediately attracted to him, but I stopped myself. A cute boy like him was probably loved by plenty of other girls. Why would he like ME?
"I-I'm Priscilla," I introduced myself.
"Ah, what a beautiful name. I'm Bryce. Do you go to Kiffwood High?"
I blushed, and smiled. What a flirt.
"Um...no, I go to Uyyi High. Where is Kiffwood High?"
"Oh, not too far from here. Do you live in this neighborhood?"
"Y-yeah, I-I do. Do you?"
"Yeah. I've never seen you around here before, though. Well, I'm glad I met you. I'll be lookng forward to the next time we meet each other." He said with a flirty look on his face.
"M-me t-too." I said. Crap! Why did I say that? I shouldn't like that big flirt! He smiled and we both left. I kept thinking about him the entire way home. Bryce probably thought that I was some weird brunette who likes him as well. I shouldn't like him, but I do. I really, really do.
